About Tania
Tania is a registered Clinical Psychologist who has been practicing for over nine years. She completed a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) and Master of Clinical Psychology on the Gold Coast, Queensland. In addition, she also completed her Core Training in Intensive Short Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP) in Melbourne, Victoria.
She has worked across a range of clinical settings, including private practice, hospital in-patient and out-patient (general mental health, early psychosis and rehabilitation), community health, and forensic.
During her time in these settings, she has worked with people across the lifespan with various mental health issues including, but not limited to, anxiety disorders, OCD, depression, loss and grief, personality disorders, substance abuse, trauma, ADHD, ASD, schizophrenia and psychotic disorders, bipolar affective disorder, chronic pain and FND.
Tania uses a variety of treatment approaches, including ISTDP, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), and tailors therapy to clients’ individual needs.
Tania’s approach to therapy is warm, genuine, and collaborative. She is passionate about providing clients with a safe and supportive environment where they can work towards making positive changes, building greater self-awareness, and enhancing their self-care, with the goal of living a healthier, and more authentic life.
